ITPB is a Peacetime Security Force, during Conventional Military Standoffs with PLA the ITBP goes back and the Indian Army takes Charge. Hence DG ITBP must refrain from making Statements that is beyond his Operational Jurisdiction. This Gentleman all his Life would have been in Policing and Just because he has got a Central Deputation he has started Lecturing on Military Modernisation and Defence preparedness about which he surely has no Knowledge.
