it’s blaine and the border! got questioned (quickly) by both canadian and american border patrol but it’s still kinda surreal standing in the middle of the highway and being able to cross into canada for a bit without a passport (yes, I need to visit the library in derby too)
@milesintransit1 open plains transit is a little insane.... (facebook only schedule for this route, because they never update their website)
but also: https://t.co/vjU2Ix4hnq is pretty insane on its own
unfortunately i have no actually useful ideas (at least right now)
“The LAP” commuter bus service between Lewiston/Auburn and Portland will begin on Monday.
Visit this link for more information, including a link to the weekday schedule:

We are still working to make “The LAP” visible in the Token Transit app.
@_KennyUong_@CapeCodRTA yep, those are revenue pullouts/returns to the garage. you can find the trips on individual route pdf schedules as “theophilius smith rd - cinema” and “patriot sq express”
just no consolidated pdf/page for all of the pullouts

shhhh that’s 7 days i have a northbound itinerary that’s 6 days
the “perfection” sheet here (i haven’t rigorously checked it, there may be a mistake) https://t.co/x6afBOPJaQ
summary summary: on the bus 6:03am 6/12 in blaine, off the train 2:17pm 6/21 in san ysidro, so 10 days. it’s absolutely possible to do this in 6 days, for example the same route leaving blaine tue and making it to san ysidro by mon (assuming the first day works)

was it fast? no. was it comfortable? not really. was it cheap? no, not when you consider the upwards of $1000 probably in hotels
was it fun though? yeah! not sure i’d *recommend* it for anyone though
thanks for following along!

worth noting though that those prices are not at all what you’ll see online; it may fluctuate wildly based on how the minibus drivers are feeling on a particular day…
