Grit? What is it? I believe it’s driven by love. Inspired by vision and purpose. Fueled by optimism and belief. Powered by faith and hope. Revived by resilience. Kept alive by stubbornness. And if we’re honest includes some fear of failure and desire to prove oneself.

Yesterday was our first official practice as the new 2019-2020 swim team! Sadly, weather was not on our side so instead of risking it we did some dry land in case lightening popped up close by. We made it about 30 mins until the...thunder 😉

Happy last Friday of 2018! Don’t forget we have practice next week! Remember, you’ve had a week off to rest, relax, and eat some delicious food, so let’s get back in the water next week to work it off. See y’all next week!

Great teams have a lot of belief, a lot of love and a lot of grit.

[Jon Gordon @JonGordon11]

You are greater than your circumstances. More courageous than your fears. The struggle is real but you are strong. Life is tough but you are tougher. You are a child of God and you are loved. Remember this today and everyday.

[Jon Gordon @JonGordon11]

Positive teams don’t just have fun together. They pursue greatness together. They believe the best is yet to come so they give their best to create the best outcome.

They didn’t run into burning buildings because of fear. They did it because of love. Love is more powerful than fear. #911Neverforget

Lane Rope Team Challenge: Swimmers worked together in 3 groups to get their teams lane rope out of the pool, jog a mile, put it back in the pool exactly how they found it, all while not letting it touch the ground. #TeamBuilding #Teamwork #MakesTheDreamwork #BeastMode
