It would be interesting to know the money "saved" from them doing this and also I wonder what they paid to use this "free-ish" tool but this is such a bad idea from @MarvelStudios and on top of that they are just bad visuals/opening credits.
If you call yourself an artist/author etc because you generated something (Image/Text) using AI with a prompt, then you might as well call yourself a chef for placing an order from a restaurant.
@ChrisBarber86 They probably know more people are now going back to offices and demand and the need for their services makes them think this is fine to do.
Seen the discord recently about naming layers in design. I will name my layers if it helps me with the design, which in turn will help others, if I don't its cause makes no difference whatsoever, unless you are a 10x designer who names layers and then gives them nicknames too 😂
I'm looking at tools like Dall-E, Midjourney, ChatGPT and what they can do and how do we know if someone has used these? Art competitions being won by "AI" art and student assignments written by a program. You know all those movies where machines take over will start with...
"AI" engines are here but they are being used to exploit industries and "short cut" human knowledge and ability. How will you know if the visual you see was created by a person or a command? or if the text you are reading was original human thought or written by a program.
Been learning a lot more 3d render & like anything you learn by doing and following tutorials to build knowledge on whats possible, then let your mind expand that #Blender3d I have to add knowledge of photograph and composition are important skills to bring into this stuff
I want to get a better understanding around how DALL·E "AI" generates images and how this factors against human artists/creators, so obviously lets first try "real life batman jumping from a building" (imagine this was for a purpose), the generated image:
There are great things about @sketch, there are great things about @figma and @AdobeXD was/is trying to go in the right direction. Competition helps drive innovation and improvements, lack thereof doesn't. FYI plenty of things still need improving on all 3.
@MaveOnline I know what you mean, and the answer is sometimes you will feel angry about and sometimes sad about it. You think we move forward but I think we are another generation away from that happening.
@MaveOnline Thats some BS man but its something ppl don't understand that poc experience this underlying racism is why society is still behind where it should be
