i also watched tenet yesterday and found it rather forgettable and way too gimmicky (still a strong 4 star film imo), it made me realise how much nolan improved his game with oppenheimer lol
i keep thinking about emily's statement that robert pattinson seems to have been the only person on set to have fun and she is so right about that. but can you really expect matt damon's idea of fun to be hiking up a hill twenty times a day
i felt silly for the longest time because i was simply not improving no matter how much i practised, turns out that blitz and bullet simply turns your brain into mush x
playing rapid and classical chess instead of blitz is not only doing wonders for my focus but it also allows me to properly *learn* a lot, who would've thought
@itfuckingme thank you cutie, i'm sending you tons of hugs and good thoughts as well ๐ i hope you're doing alright and i apologise for the late reply, these days i tweet and log off almost straight away ๐ญ
also a general update would be that my brain is still in shambles and i broke up with my boyfriend for something we both knew could become an impediment at a certain point, but we are still very dear to one other and i could not possibly say a single negative word about him <3
the funny thing however is that i have been feeling so emotional that genshin impact made me cry when i found out more about nahida during the sumeru archon quest, she's the purest character in that game and i'm so lucky to also be able to have her on my team ๐ญ
took a break from this novel but i returned to it this evening. it drives me insane whenever ivan "opens his laptop to play some chess" like ? does he use lichess or chess dot com?
intermezzo reminds me so much of my ex boyfriend that it makes me feel a bit sick whenever i read it but it's just so good. well done sally, you wonderful woman
