Programming was deeply satisfying work to me. Work for hours/days before getting the payoff of the code working well on your machine. I’m feeling so much friction now to open the editor and do this kind of task by hand, but also increasingly depressed with the nature of work in an AI assisted dev workflow. Back and forth prompting seems to eat at my soul. Need to find a balance that brings back some of the toil.

The customer support told me that invoice is pending even though I had given the invoice number in initial complaint and they didn't told me anything was pending from my side till yet.

@Mike_Andreuzza Yeah, everything is baked together that if part fails you have to pay at least 35% of original cost in repair.

I have seen this happening with many, they force user to basically replace items instead of repair coz it's so damn expensive anyways

What I have learnt is to keep your job and passion separate.

At work I will write that .NET C# WebAPI application that complex DB transactions with SQL and deploy it to IIS server on Windows.

But...

He cannot leave his job and work extremely hard for something he wants because:
A) when you are unemployment even your family starts treating you differently.
B) Most Indian households are small and cramped enough that you cannot do any focussed deep work.
