Had the opportunity to show @trycampsite to another 10 design teams today — it was awesome ✨
Every conversation refines my assumptions about what teams are *actually* looking for when it comes to design's visibility within an organization.
i got overly motivated last week and cycled 5 days in a row when im used to riding twice in a week tops lol
i need to chill before i overtrain by the third week smh
@MrCardonaDev@AdamMura Yep this is how I do it. I got into the habit when editing audio because you spend so much time scrubbing left and right on the timeline. Two finger scroll is perfect for this on a track pad. I’ve carried it through to design and it works so well.
@marcedwards@jonatan Yeah, definitely a bit fishy. As usual with Apple, the sum total of the experience can sometimes exceed what the “real specs” suggest. In some ways I can see why they obscure this information.
@marcedwards@jonatan I’m no expert but I’ve read it in this review and a few others. Also, Apple explicitly claim 10-bit depth for the XDR display. There would be no reason to not explicitly claim 10-bit for studio display or iMac.
I still love my new studio display 👌

@marcedwards@jonatan iMac displays are 8bit, same as the new studio display. Only the XDR screens are 10bit. Not sure of the real world impact of this for most users but it certainly puts the studio display in the “consumer” category when it comes to colour critical work.
