An early start for our six junior swimmers for the Swim Ulster senior schools cup championships in Bangor today. Mikey,Finn, Ronan, Gerard, Sophie & Sarah will compete in two events each as well as the boys taking part in the 4x200 freestyle relay. Swim fast and have fun!
Back to back champions! A great result for the senior team today in the U19B regional final against OLSPCK. A 52-40 win secures the title stays in Aquinas for another year. Great game by both schools. A credit to your clubs!
CONGRATULATIONS to both the U16 & U19 basketball teams. A narrow 47-43 win today for the U16s against OLSPCK in Newforge sees them progress to the final to play St Ronan's Lurgan while the U19s will play OLSPCK in the final on 11 December. Well done to the players and coaches!
Start of another busy period in careers. We had the university roadshow in today, QUB tomorrow, Year 14 UCAS evening on Thursday for pupils and parents plus a number of unis, UU Open day on Friday and QUB on Saturday plus St Mary's open day next week. Fantastic opportunities.
Well done to the Y8s today in the Vince Halloran tournament. Won two and lost two but the game of the day was between Lagan and Aquinas where Mikey scored two free throws at the end of OT to give us the 38-36 win. Congratulations to St Malachys and OLSPCK who progressed through.

The Y8s had a fantastic day at the JagTag tournament in MeadowBank SC, Magherafelt. Well done to everyone and Mikey and Sam who got MVP awards. Just now need 20 tickets for the NFL game in Croke Park later in the year!!!!

Well done to Nathaniel (left) and Dan on a great weekend of basketball. Friday afternoon saw them win the North regional schools title. Friday night and Saturday afternoon, representing Belfast Star at the BNI finals, they got two wins over excellent Phoenix teams.
