@beneltham Unfortunately yes, but no one mention the thousands of couple that had broken up since Covid pandemic and now living in 2 residences instead of 1
🇺🇸🇵🇸 Rachel Corrie
Over 20 years ago, an Israeli bulldozer crushed Rachel Corrie to death.
Rachel Corrie was a 23-year-old American woman who spent her time advocating for the rights of Palestinians.
On March 16th 2003, Rachel stood in front of a Palestinian home in Rafah, with the objective of preventing an Israeli bulldozer from destroying it.
She was wearing a bright orange vest, and was yelling through a megaphone trying to persuade the driver to stop.
The bulldozer ran her over.
Israel claimed her death was an accident.
Her family never received justice.
Rachel’s last words were, “I think my back is broken.”
RIP Rachel Corrie 💔🕊️
Kerry O’Brien says it “does not wash” to keep doing the same thing & that the Voice is our first real “chance”
O’Brien also calls out politicians who say Indigenous ppl will “abuse” their responsibility & reminds us of the real abuse of power we have today.💥
Brilliant. 😌👏👏
Mary-Louise McLaws was a regular contributor on Uncommon Sense and I know she gave many a great sense of safety, empowerment, and hope during the first few years of the pandemic. A one of a kind person. Intelligent, principled, reasoned, and compassionate.
She won't be forgotten.

GreenLNP opposition is like LNP saying no food for hungry people, Greens saying Steak and Veg, and Labour offering chicken and salad. Instead of feeding someone something, Green and LNP end up with the same result. Hungry people.
The damage wrought on Australia's character by racist gay-hating bigot and war criminal Little Johnny Howard continues to this day. His Culture War hate gave rise to Abbott, Morrison & Dutton. 😠 #auspol#NoRoomForRacism
Those who think Victoria pulling out of the Commonwealth Games will cause Australia “reputational damage” internationally should consider what would occur if a No vote gets up on the Voice.
On this day in 1954, John Foster Dulles and the United Fruit Company organise the landing of the CIA’s Exile Army to Guatemala to begin the coup against President Jacobo Árbenz.
Árbenz had threatened to nationalise the United Fruit Company, which was an arm of US imperialism. John Foster Dulles owned significant stock in the United Fruit Company. The coup was led by CIA asset General Castillo Armas, what would follow would be 4 decades of US-backed brutality by successive dictatorial regimes, which fought to protect US interests. Among the horrors was the genocide of the Maya people.
