.@narendramodi ji must be regretting this tweet now. The same @Mohanlal has stabbed Modiji ji by making PM Modi and @AmitShah as villains in his latest movie #Empuraan. One can understand @PrithviOfficial, who is in and out Jihadi, but one never expected this act of treason from a person like Mohanlal.
Less said, the better about Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan. They aided and abetted in the making of this anti Hindu, anTi BJP movie.

Making of anti Hindu and anti-national film Empuraan – Mohanlal is the main culprit!

All the furor is on Prithviraj for making a movie that is clearly anti-Hindu and anti-India. The movie tries to re-write the Godhra train incident and create a narrative against Hindus and the ruling BJP.

Though Prithviraj is equally culpable for making such a movie, the real culprit is Mohanlal himself.

I have not watched the movie and don’t plan to watch, but I am told that Lal plays a guest role in this movie, with hardly 4 or 5 scenes and close to just 15 mins of dialogues.

But the movie has been produced by Lal’s benami Antony Perumbavoor. Antony began his career as a chauffeur to Mohanlal in 1987 and started appearing in brief roles in Malayalam films in 1990s. In 2000, he established the film production house Aashirvad Cinemas, which exclusively produces Mohanlal films.

Mohanlal can pretend to be angry with the final product as though he was unaware of the film’s content and message, but as the producer there is no way he would have been kept in the dark.

I am not surprised at all. Kerala was the first state in India which alienated itself from the nationalist scheme of things and embraced communism. Now the entire ecosystem is rattled by the growth of BJP in the state.

Empuraan is just a vehicle to showcase that anxiety and to rewrite history in the garb of fiction and creative film making. @Mohanlal @PrithviOfficial
