Under the initiative of #Bangladesh Islami #Chhatrashibir, a reception program was organized to honor the elected representatives of the central student unions of four universities, under the theme “Building the Dream Campus with Indomitable Leadership.”

The program was presided over by Jahidul Islam, Central President of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, and conducted by Nurul Islam Saddam, Secretary General of the organization.

The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
Special Guests included former Central Presidents of Chhatra Shibir Dr. Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, and former DUCSU Vice President Advocate Jasim Uddin Sarkar.

Among the elected student leaders who spoke were—
DUCSU VP Sadiq Kayem, JUCSU VP Abdur Rashid Jitu, CUCSU VP Ibrahim Hossain Rony, RUCSU VP Mostakur Rahman Zahid, JUCSU AGS Ayesha Siddika Meghla, and RUCSU Executive Member Sujon Chandra.

A human chain was organized by the Dhaka Metropolitan Unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir in protest against the passage of the anti-Muslim Waqf Bill in India. The event took place today (April 5) at 3 PM in Shahbagh, the capital city.

Azizur Rahman Azad, Central Publicity Secretary, attended the program as the chief guest. Among the special guests who addressed the gathering were Central International Affairs Secretary Mu’tasim Billah Shahedi, Publications Secretary Abu Shadik Kayem, and College Affairs Secretary Shahidul Islam.

Presidents of various university branches based in Dhaka, along with Dhaka Metropolitan Unit leaders, also delivered speeches during the human chain.
