That’s why I never thought he could be cheating.
Like… how do you live a double life when you’ve made me so visible?
Turns out… visibility doesn’t mean exclusivity.
One day, I got a random message from a girl.
No greeting. Just:
“Hey… how long have you been with him?”
I thought it was a joke.
I replied, “almost 2 years, why?”
She sent a picture.
Him. In her bed.
Timestamp from last week.
My stomach dropped.
I called him immediately.
No answer.
Called again. Nothing.
Then he texted:
“busy, what’s up?”
Busy.
I sent the picture.
Silence.
Then:
“It’s not what it looks like.”
I didn’t even respond.
The girl and I ended up talking.
Turns out… she thought I was the side.
He told her I was his “crazy ex” who wouldn’t let go.
Meanwhile, he was taking me to family dinners.
Living two completely different stories… with the same confidence.
That’s the scary part.
