I very rarely read back on my thoughts but when I do, it's amazing to see and remember what my mindset was during particular moments / events / times
When you listen to some Mashayikh reciting the Qur’an in Salah, you feel as if they are doing Tafsir with their voices as the verses hit your heart.
This is a true ideal to be aspired for; far removed from vocal theatrics that have no connection to the meanings of the verses.
Are we really “seeking knowledge”, my brothers?
Or are we, as laymen, putting our religion in the hands of:
- sheikh google
- our ignorance
- our whims and desires
- social media scholars
This is not seeking knowledge
This is a trap for falling into misguidance & confusion
Don’t fear what your brain envisions about the answer to the question, “what if?” Your suffering starts the moment you think about it, and agonizes your mind in the future. Do what you must now, fear only the regret you’ll have in not doing so.
