@tarkov In my opinion, every event should be designed so the average player can actually clear it, not the other way around. For the tryhards who want to prove themselves, just throw in a hardcore key. At the end of the day, everybody gets rewarded.

It's not a code problem. I was able to complete the Casus Belli event without any issues.
The real problem is that BSG is using access to new events and content as a way to force wipes in PvE, even after saying that in PvE the reset would be optional. Players who kept their profile without resetting (as was promised) are simply locked out of the events. This isn't good design — it's a veiled punishment.

@nikgeneburn Hi Nikita, why were players who didn’t reset their PvE account able to participate in the Casus Belli event, but then prevented from joining the following events? This situation seems inconsistent and doesn’t make sense.

@nikgeneburn Hi Nikita, I’m a proud EoD owner, 60yo and not skilled for PvP😅. I’ve been grinding PvE for 2 years without resetting. Only now I got Kappa, but I’m still not halfway on skills. Any way to unlock the main storyline & new events for non-reset accounts? Would mean a lot! Thanks!

@tarkov This summer I want to make the most of it: I plan to travel to Petrópolis to relax, enjoy some movies and series on my list, and of course spend plenty of hours playing Escape from Tarkov with friends. It’s going to be a mix of relaxation and intense fun!

Мне 58 лет, и я горжусь тем, что являюсь владельцем EoD. Я играю в Tarkov каждый день с 2021 года, но по-настоящему наслаждаться игрой начал только после выхода PvE. У меня нет навыков для PvP, и именно в PvE я наконец-то нашёл себя в игре.
За годы упорной игры я смог открыть Kappa и полностью прокачать всех торговцев. Однако мои навыки всё ещё далеки от максимума. К сожалению, из-за блокировки, которую ввели для тех, кто не сбросил персонажа при запуске 1.0, я теперь не могу участвовать в новых событиях и продолжать проходить историю.
Я не сбрасывал персонажа не из каприза, а потому что просто не смогу заново пройти все квесты, которые уже выполнил. Я уверен, что таких игроков, как я, немало — люди, которые искренне любят игру, вложили в неё годы и хотели бы продолжать развивать свой аккаунт, не теряя всего прогресса.
Хотелось бы узнать, каковы шансы, что эту ситуацию можно будет решить в будущем? Есть ли возможность открыть полный доступ к истории и будущим событиям для тех, кто решил не сбрасывать персонажа?
