Stand is showing where the moisture was. Just like several fields waiting on the rain that hasn't showed up. Will lose a few that germinated but did not have enough moisture. Overall this field expected to have adequate stand when the rain arrives.
Poinsett County SRVP double crop soybeans finishing up this week. Good pod set and good bean size. Ready to see what they cut in a few weeks. @luv2shoot36
Lawrence County SRVP. Done and waiting on harvest. With all the rain the past two days, it was a good time to pull the soil moisture sensors. Can't wait to see what they cut. @ExtLawrence
@catdadd76769738@AgWriterArk Good guess but from this picture if you look to the right you can see the variety change. Went from a 41 maturity to a 49.
Yell County agent Bob Powell and Pope County agent Brandon Yarbery out scouting soybeans. Insect and disease pressure remain low but the Heat keeps rising!
Took a quick break from scouting fields today to conduct the 2023 4-H State Orama Crops and Weed ID contest. Had some great kids and tough competition! We were fortunate to have this view from our room. @AgWriterArk@Arkansas4H
