According to the World Bank, although women make up 50% of Africa's population, they represent only 9% of the cybersecurity workforce on the continent.

What if we could change that by removing the barriers that disproportionately affect young African women? CyberGirls Fellowship was created to remove this BAR by providing support that increases (B)elieve, (A)ccess, and (R)epresentation; supporting young women across the continent to enter, thrive, and succeed in this male-dominated industry.

No woman will be hired for a cybersecurity role because she is a woman. She'll only be hired because she is the best skilled for the role. The CyberGirls Fellowship exists to ensure that there are skilled, confident and passionate African women to fill #cybersecurity roles.
