B4 seeing a hearing impaired patient, I was anxious thinking of not being able to communicate. So I quickly googled a few hand signs before doing an exam on him. I’m not sure if I did it right, but he signed “thank you” in the end and I knew then we communicated. #ihearyou 😊

A patient today said she saw 3 dentist and said no one explained what she had but just told her what she needed.
She was labeled the “crazy” patient. She wasn’t crazy, she just needed someone to explain to her that her pain wasn’t “normal”.
