@AilinKee Was the castle itself open when you visited? I know it closed temporarily in January but I am having a hard time figuring out if itβs open again!

@naturallywild__ but you can also have caffeine the day before you expect a migraine to occur and it can help in advance of a migraine too. Some people find caffeine a trigger though so I can't guarantee it works for everyone. I hope you find some relief!
@naturallywild__ So I don't have chronic migraines (only very occasional migraines) but I did learn from someone who *does* have chronic migraines about caffeine stacking. I didn't even know that caffeine is good for relieving some pressure on blood vessels in the brain, but it is. Not only that,
Caught this little guy today - wood pigeon with wing injuries, couldn't fly and soaking wet in the rain.
Eternally grateful to the Flintshire Wildlife Rescue for taking him in! They think he'll probably be suitable for release once the injury heals.
They also kindly took in this feral pigeon last month who I caught and never tweeted about. Sadly, little Poxy didn't make it as maggots had already entered his lungs π’ But the rescue were so good to take him and did everything they could for him at the time.
They have a gofundme here to raise money for spaying and neutering their local feral cat population - super important work. If you can afford to do so, please consider making a donation to them.

My headβs been in a bleak place this month. Iβve been overwhelmed with bad news stories, eco-anxiety etc. But there is always light, even when you canβt see it. This pumpkin depicts the lighter moments in my dark - mushrooms, bracken, ravens and, whenever it shone, the sun.
Does anyone know why this pigeon may have lost a lot of feathers suddenly? Could be moulting I suppose but I thought it was a little late. Possible predator attack? Just wanted some advice on if I should try to take them in. One of my regulars and trusting, albeit a bit flighty.
