Sometimes we can see this nice distribution of melanin (the brown pigment) above the nuclei of basal keratinocytes, protecting the DNA from the UV radiation (and protecting us from skin cancer). Like a sun-hat.

Bowen’s Disease (squamous cell carcinoma in situ). Epidermal bluish appearance because of the proliferated atypical keratinocytes with large nuclei. Full thickness atypia and adnexal involvement. Atypical tripolar mitosis in this case.
