GM Web 3: Collab Management Soft skills
Do you know as a CM ,there are certain skills you need to survive and thrive in this field?
From my years of experience,I can confidently tell these are important:
1. Communication and Interpersonal skills: as a CM, you must have the ability to clearly express ideas and thought both in writing and speech.
You must be able to interact and build relationship, regardless of your follower counts or the size of the accounts or projects you are reaching out to.
Your ability to relate with people across all levels is key.

2: Organizational and Time Management Skills: Being organize and timely go hand in hand. It will help you stay positive, reduce stress and deliver result on time. You must learn to prioritize tasks,show up on time for meetings ,meet collab deadlines, set your schedules and keep your data intact.
Google Spreedsheet,To-Do list ,Task management apps like Trello can supports you in staying on track.

3. Negotiation Skills: Your ability to negotiate matters alot. You must be able to reach a win-win agreement through respectful discussion and persuasion. This is not just about job payments but also applies to spot allocations,agreeing on deadlines,closing a deal etc.
How you politely pitch yourself and request for spot allocations or boost allocations is important.

4. Emotional Intelligence skills and Patience: you must study the other person involved. Emotions will rise,your ability to handle situations, understand others perspectives, resolve conflicts,stay driven,control your emotions and remain calm under pressure is crucial.
Web 3 will test you: your ability to hold your ground without losing your sanity would be needed.
Not all collabs will go smoothly,not all CMs or Projects will respond to you but you must hold your ground.

5. Attention to Details: paying attention to details is just as important as any other skills. You don't want to mess up the job before it even starts.
If needed,take note on key details while working.
