✨ I am deeply honoured to have been nominated for the ‘Community Impact Award’ at the Loughborough University PhD Awards 2025. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who put my name forward and supported me along the way 😊
🧱 One of the things I truly enjoy is playing with clay. But what I love even more is accompanying others as they work with clay and sharing in the joy of seeing them bring beautiful pieces to life—often so creative that I even feel a little jealous! 🤭 @lborouniarts
🌟 It was a great pleasure to present my #PhD research at the British Society of Criminology Conference @BSCPortsmouth25, held at @portsmouthuni. Truly grateful for the inspiring discussions and valuable feedback!

Thank you for turning the heating on visiting days to help encourage more students to study at @lborouniversity. Could you please show that you care about existing students as much as new ones by turning the heating on at weekends for the students who already study here?
🎨✨ We had an amazing time getting hands-on at the Clay Workshop with Ezgi! 🙌 💜
Our lovely @lborouniversity International students created unique pinch pots using air-dry clay and discovered the magic of working with clay for the first time.

Great times at our collage making workshop with our artsworker Ezgi Aral 📄 ✨
The festive fun doesn’t stop for those staying on campus over Christmas 🎄 🥰
I salute the Turkish national pride for staying true to their country and its values in the face of censorship by an autocratic regime.
Protesting their self expression amid the Saudi oppression is a gesture Atatürk would applaud a century later.
Atatürk was a national hero who championed self expression and liberty
At Turkish Supercup in Riyadh, Saudis censored Galatasaray+ Fenerbahçe’s use of his image and any national elements on the century of the founding of his republic. Despicable.
And they’ll host a World Cup 🤦🏻♂️
We have an office but it's freezing 🥶because the heaters are off 😤
The library is closed.
I am wondering if the uni is only for undergrads and staff. Obviously, not for PhDs!

PhDs trying to study during Christmas break when the entire university is closed, all the heaters in the office are off, even the library is closed 👇🏼👇🏼
