Day 40 today for our people in Oriire.
You heard right, 40 days in that dungeon disguised as bush due to the lackadaisical attitude of the government in power not to protect the lives of citizens.
No doubt the worst government in our history to turn deaf ears to the security of its citizens.
Empty promises everyday no action/result.
#RescueOriire
Today makes it 41 days those school children and their teachers were taken into captivity and it feels like the nation is gradually moving on.
Public outrage has faded, attention has shifted elsewhere. It is sad that this is our reality.
While we are going about our daily activities, 114 Nigerian pupils and teachers remain in captivity in boko haram dens across the country.
Oyo: 46 abducted — about 40 days in captivity (2 already dead).
Borno: 42 abducted — about 40 days in captivity.
Katsina: 26 abducted — over 53 days in captivity.
They're spending this rainy season unsheltered in the den of kidnappers while their families are waiting for their return.
Don't forget them. 💔❤️
This is heartbreaking.
Over a month since the Oriire abduction and these children and teachers are still missing with little to no updates?
The silence from the authorities is unacceptable.
Nigerians deserve better.
The government, police & military must prioritize rescuing them and securing schools.
We can’t keep normalizing this.
Praying for their safe return.
These Police Officers just parked me at Bolade, Oshodi, pointed guns at me, and forced me to transfer N100,000 them. When my bank app showed "exceeded transfer limit", they dragged me to a nearby POS to do it with my card.
They initially demanded 150k each.
They were 4 in number.
These are the names I could copy:

Please my mutuals, if you see this on your TL, help repost or tag other relevant authorities until these criminals are apprehended.
How many days now?
They have been forgotten
Will they ever come back ?
No one talks about them anymore.
I think this might be another episode of chibok girls.
Nigerian government don’t care about your lives.
THEY ARE STILL IN CAPTIVITY!

Please retweet this for the world to see.
This is now their 40th Day as prisoners and hostages of terrorists. 40 Days of Cold nights, no change of clothes, poor physical care, emotional trauma, abuse and constant fear! Ah!!😭😭😭. God!!!!
This is soul sinking!!! 40 DAYS!!!
Oyo children have spent 38 days in the bush. Borno children have spent 38 days in the bush.
Nigerians are specialists in adjusting & moving on. We are slowly forgetting the innocent ones.
They never asked to be born in Nigeria. 💔💔
Is this how we have gone fatigued over the Oriire kidnapping?
I no longer see briefings or mentions from the government. Everyday is too long.
#RescueOriire
These young, innocent children are still being held captive. It's Day 38, and the government still hasn't rescued them. They're out there facing heavy winds, rain, and scorching sun.
What a country! What a government!
