So happy we got to pick up Win at the airport today 🥹
He looked amazing and smiled so much—my heart melted 🫠
He kindly received gifts and letters from all of us, I’m overjoyed he liked it.
He opened my gift right after getting in the car—his fave dorayaki from Japan

👩🏻: Now, I think everyone probably shares the same picture that Souri can be called a brand that leverages local soft power to create a distinct identity for each branch through flavor. Now, if we want to develop further meaning, developing flavor so that it becomes recognized more widely in the industry, what do you think the next step or plan would be in terms of promotion, or how could we utilize ideas in this direction?
🐰: I think building a brand or business is like a circle. I feel that every element or component we work on must connect smoothly as a single story. We shouldn't just stand out in one area or be good at creating new flavors; our quality must be good, operations must be solid, and promotion plans must be well-executed.
So, I see it like a tray of pizza divided into slices that come together to form a beautiful, complete circle. Therefore, moving forward with our promotional efforts, my focus is on ensuring every customer touchpoint delivers the best possible experience.
Whether it's a clear brand identity, what customers experience through packaging, bags, service, or online channels, we aim to deliver the best customer experience possible. So, it's not just about releasing new flavors to make the brand last long-term; it's about the experience customers receive, so that whichever Souri branch they walk into, they get the same standardized experience. 🥹👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

👩🏻: Is there anything you would like to leave with TPSO that might help enable reaching the next step or reaching a new milestone better? so we can take it to develop policy?
🐰: I would like mention three stages, as I have been through all of them 😊
The first stage, I think, in terms of research and development, is very important. For example, I might have the starting budget, but I foresee that if it's an SME that doesn't have a budget, but they already have the idea, how will they execute it here? I think this is a point where, if we increase support, it should help allow the ideas of the younger generation and Thai people to grow much more.
The second stage, I think, is about business expansion. Once we have a good product, how can they grow? Do they need capital to expand? So support in this second stage is also very important.
As for the third stage, which is the stage I am currently facing... One of my biggest goals is that I want to take a Thai brand to truly compete on an international level. Therefore, achieving globalization requires a lot of support as well.
For instance, if I am someone who might not have the knowledge, connections, or networking with overseas businesses, it's quite challenging. It took me a very long time to find the right partner. If I had support here in terms of matching or having some guarantee from the department, it would help us work faster and enable Thai brands to go global for real. 😊

🧑🏻🦱: In person, you are so handsome!
🐰: Oh, thank you! ☺️
🧑🏻🦱: Allow me to call you Nong Win 😁
🐰: I will only give a permission to him, everyone! 😅
🧑🏻🦱: Seeing you as an artist, actor, or celebrity and on the other side people might already know, you do business and branding too. However people might think you're just the face or just doing marketing. What are you doing overall?
🐰: Actually, in terms of my roles, it's divided into two main parts: the entertainment industry part and my business part. My businesses include #SOURIBKK, #COSIE and #VELENCEBKK a clothing brand 💚
🟠: Why did you choose to interview Win today?
🧑🏻🦱: I think he is an actor/artist who has a very strong entrepreneurial mindset. From what I've followed, it's not just a passing trend where he uses his fame alone, but he's someone who understands marketing, products, branding, and new consumers. I want to come learn how a "Creator Brand", someone who is a creator or influencer builds a brand and makes it successful.
🧑🏻🦱: When you started, I understand there was a period of fan support and many things. Many people in entertainment do business like this. Now, which point—to be honest—made it break through or maintain and keep the business going further and further?
🐰: The key turning point for me was the moment when... ok, in the first year or two, there was full power supporting me, which I am very grateful for and appreciate. But over time, that power might gradually decrease or they might not buy as regularly as before. That made me see the change. So I started feeling, "if it's like this, it means the brand is tied too much to me." I reached a point of thinking, "What should I do if there is no Win Metawin anymore, but customers still love our brand"
🧑🏻🦱: This is a point that many people might not be able to cross, and your brand... when marketers classify it, they often group it as a "Creator Brand" or "Celebrity Brand," meaning a famous person starting a brand.
🐰: So I think how can I make them love me and also love the brand. Before, they might have bought solely because they loved me. So that was an important turning point: how to make them also love the brand. We started creating the brand's identity, rebranding everything, changing the logo, and setting up the brand's persona to see how it works up until today. But overall, we didn't change the product concept.
So we solved the problem starting from the vibrant colors of the product first: what its character would be like, and how customers eating our treat would feel. I think this is important in starting branding.
Once we got that, #SOURI had to be an extrovert, definitely a female character, given the colorfulness and cuteness.😊
At first, the colorway of the packaging or shop might have been very feminine, so I added the idea of how to make men feel confident walking into SOURI too, not just a place where men don't dare enter. We tried to make Souri friendly, approachable, and accessible for men as well.
🐰: I think the clearer we make the branding, the more people remember it. Because new brands pop up all the time, and a brand doesn't naturally have life, but we are creating life for it by infusing branding, identity, storytelling, and emotion so people can relate. It makes customers remember it, and once they remember, they will return to us and think of us. 😊
