🚨Breaking: Dr. Hussam Abu-Safeia, director of Kamal Edwan Hospital, is being killed by Israeli Occupation Forces.

Dr. Hussam is heavily tutored, and each time his lawyer visits, new injuries are discovered on him.

His last words to his lawyer were: “They brought me here to kill me; this is my end.”

Israel has already killed Dr. Hussam’s son, and now it’s Dr.Hussam’s turn.

Raise awareness and speak out to help him before it’s too late.

🚨The recent images of Dr. Hussam Abu Safyia are shocking evidence of Israel's abuse against Palestinian detainees.

Dr. Abu Safyia has been arbitrarily detained for one and a half years without charges, while being physically abused and denied healthcare.

His recent solitary confinement adds a further layer of concerns over his deteriorating health. Dr. Abu Safyia must be immediately and unconditionally released. Israel must release all Palestinians arbitrarily detained. States must pressure Israel to stop abusing Palestinian prisoners.

Some highlights:

The slower, more deliberate pace of capturing ideas by hand, on paper, translates into a sharper recall of details—even days later.

Handwriting notetakers, however, are forced to slow down their minds and focus on broader principles and big ideas, rather than isolated facts, allowing them to connect new knowledge to existing knowledge they’ve already processed.

A deeper analysis revealed that handwriting notetakers were much more likely to add drawings, diagrams, and charts of the material being learned: a sketch of the water cycle, for example, or visual annotations linking concepts together.
