Some Arsenal fans really underestimate the stability we have at our club under Mikel Arteta. He built this team from scratch, reset the culture at the club, and instilled discipline and a winning mentality into the players. The players trust him, and so do the owners and the board.
Look at Chelsea, for example, where there’s no stability. They don’t even know who will be managing them in December. Their key players are unhappy and would jump at any decent opportunity to leave.
Even when we were trophyless, no big club could tempt our players away. Saliba rejected Madrid, but Konaté and Trent, from a Liverpool team that won the league just a year ago, ran down their contracts to join them. I doubt they would have done that if Klopp were still in charge.
Give it one more year at City and see if their players remain as loyal to the club as they were when Pep was there.
Arteta isn’t perfect. He can be stubborn, and sometimes rigid or even annoying, but you can’t deny what he has done for us. We’re so lucky to have him, and we’re lucky that he loves the club.
Back this man, support him, and we will dominate for years to come. This is just the beginning ❤️
@RealMannieVibes@RuthieofBuj1@n6oflife6 You probably didn’t realize the trophy parade( 1st in 22 years) was the day after the champions league. That is called killing two birds with one stone.
None of them congratulated us when we won the PL but couldn’t wait to dunk on us now. This is why 80% of premier league teams be playing their World Cup final vs Arsenal while bending over backwards for City
Chelsea lost their first UCL final in 2008 on pens.
Man City lost their first UCL final.
United lost their last 2 UCL finals in 2009 and 2011.
Liverpool lost 2 UCL finals in 2018 and 2022.
It's normal. All we need to do is keep arriving here. And we WILL get over the line.
