@CuadrasRichard@AzPetrich It's almost like teams change and no one team stays great consistently. Revolutionary idea: Trump is NOT why teams cannot win consistently

@ZexRow@eternalrll Rocket League is a lot more open than you think. There are a ton of unofficial leagues that players can compete amongst teams their skill level and earn money
@Greenpig117 Masters in OW is the equivalent of GC2 in RL in terms of spacing from the top rank. Even then, it could be argued to be GC3 since low SSL & high SSL are basically 2 separate ranks. Especially considering OW has 5 tiers per most ranks to RL's 3 per every minus SSL.
@Liefx@ZachMattson56@JohnnyBoi_i Everyone has phones but comming through phones is incredibly inconvenient. A lot of players are teens who don't have the money to get a camera, and are running on gifts from family.
@Noah19651770@WigginsGaming@gcindisguise I haven't personally played high level OW, but my friend who peaked Top 500 in either early OW2 or prime OW1 (he never actually told me which ๐) but is C3 in RL, can definitely say RL is harder.
RL is very much the same as OW pro play, just that it is like that at avg skill lvl.
@NFsleeptoken619@frogpitgaming@gcindisguise I listed roughly 20 points on things you have to do in RL. You gave me less than 10 that you have to do in OW. OW is a far more minimalist and far more rewarding and less punishing than RL.
in RL, 1 mistake gets you scored on; in OW it takes multiple to lose a team fight.
@NFsleeptoken619@frogpitgaming@gcindisguise In RL you have to literally be looking at the boost, current position/speed/direction/arch of the ball, your teammates, and your opponents ALL AT ONCE. If you miss any of those things, it could cost you heavily
@NFsleeptoken619@frogpitgaming@gcindisguise Ult economy is to OW what Boost economy is to RL. Except in RL not having boost is far more punishing than not having your ult in OW. Not having boost can get you scored on, playing around your opponents not having boost when they DO can get you scored on, same w/ tm8s, etc
@NFsleeptoken619@frogpitgaming@gcindisguise Overwatch was my first game like it. Before it, my only shooter was Fortnite (which granted I was pretty good at). I picked up on everything really quickly.
I have a friend who was Top 500 on Junkrat with like 1k hours, and has almost 1.5k on Rocket League and is Champion 3 in RL
@NFsleeptoken619@frogpitgaming@gcindisguise Aerials are a surface level mechanic in Rocket League. You are advised to learn it by mid Diamond. Mind you, the average rank in Rocket League is around high Diamond-low Champion. You are supposed to be almost entirely consistent by C2, and completely consistent by GC2
@NFsleeptoken619@frogpitgaming@gcindisguise I have roughly 200 hours on OW. I have a pretty solid comprehension of everything I gotta do in that game to win, and when I played before switching to Rivals, I was winning consistently. Pushed high gold on Support and mid gold on dps & tank. Had just started, and stopped bc MR>
@ZachMattson56@JohnnyBoi_i That would be the job of the org. Unless somehow it isn't an org and was just a team who had put themselves together, like GAS
@WigginsGaming@gcindisguise In RL, you often have less than 2 seconds to make several mental calculations on every possible outcome. In Overwatch, you have at minimum 5 to make maybe 4 mental notes - not even calculations.
@deno_1907_@gcindisguise Not true. Overwatch has skills that can convert from playing basically any other shooter. Rocket League has literally one game like it that was popular for a whopping two months almost a year ago, and the majority of that game's playerbase was RL players
