@HMRCcustomers How do I de-register from Self Assessment from overseas? Paper returns are not accepted from overseas. And i cant find paper form for de-registering. #canitgetanyharder
@HMRCcustomers@HMRCgovuk - Phoned/emailed/cant login to portal. over GBP 1000 of penalties on zero taxable income! Why is it so hard to stop being requested to Self Assessments, I left UK in 2019, and declared where necessary. Please help.
@HMRCcustomers I can't access my portal because I don't have the phone number (AU), been overseas too long to Get into Self Assessment so no way of me changing any details (NZ) or deregistering for self assessment. Its a perpetual cycle - i need to stop the cycle before worry about appeals.
@HMRCcustomers 2020-2021 and 2022-2023 I think - I had appealed the 2021 one and they said submit a return and set no more returns... but email response on original appeal hit a brick wall... and with life distractions, I thought it had resolved itself but then got penalised again
Great outcome to finally unlock delivery of these sites. I can't begin to explain the twists and turns these projects have been through - reward for persistence and imagination! Particular kudos to joel dodd in our investment team for staying power
