In addition to disaster-related services, we will also offer valuable information and guidance on estate planning and record sealing. Estate planning ensures your wishes are honored and your loved ones are taken care of, while record sealing can open doors to new opportunities 💼
We want to ensure that all members of our community affected by recent disasters receive the assistance they need, regardless of immigration status. You may be eligible for short-term, noncash, in-kind emergency relief. Accepting won't impact your ability to become a resident.
Don't sign any major repair contracts before insurance assessment. If you notice warning signs of scams, report fraud to the Attorney General. We care about your safety and well-being, Arkansas. Stay strong! #ArkansasAppleseed#ContractorScams#TornadoDamage
We understand that dealing with the aftermath of tornadoes can be challenging, and the last thing you need is to fall victim to contractor scams. To protect yourself, get written estimates, check references, ask for insurance proof, and insist on a clear contract.
If you're an AR resident dealing with property damage from the recent tornadoes, follow these steps to file an insurance claim. Remember to take inventory of all damaged belongings, contact your insurance agency, and preserve evidence of damage while preventing further damage.
In the wake of the recent tornados, Arkansas Appleseed is working with partners to provide DISASTER RESPONSE LEGAL CLINICS. More info soon
In the meantime, we want to amplify the current resources & opportunities for involvement.
Stay safe & Continue taking care of each other!
