या तो रक्षा मंत्री @rajnathsingh ने जब संसद को संबोधित किया तो उनकों यह जानकारी ही नहीं थी कि छह सैनिक शहीद हो चुके थे। यदि ऐसा है, तो यह उस मंत्री पर गंभीर प्रश्नचिह्न है, जिसे उसी मंत्रालय के मामलों की जानकारी नहीं है जिसका व��� नेतृत्व कर रहे हैं।

या फिर उन्हें सच्चाई मालूम थी और इसके बावजूद उन्होंने संसद को गुमराह करना चुना। यह उससे भी अधिक गंभीर है, क्योंकि इससे यह सिद्ध होता है कि यह सरकार लोकतंत्र के मंदिर में, शपथ के साथ, देश से झूठ बोलती है।

जो भी सच हो, कुछ तथ्य नहीं बदलते -

हमारे छह वीर जवानों ने कर्तव्य निभाते हुए सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया। लेकिन उनके बलिदान को छिपाया गया। उन्हें वह सम्मान और मान्यता नहीं दी गई जिसके वे हकदार थे। और उनके परिवारों से वह पारदर्शिता भी छीन ली गई जिसकी वे अपेक्षा रखते थे।

यह हमारे सैनिकों का अपमान है, और कोई भी सच्चा देशभक्त इस पर मौन या संतुष्ट नहीं रह सक��ा।

The RSS-BJP is having a meltdown because Rahul Gandhi mistakenly said Shivraj Chouhan's son instead of Raman Singh's son. And later corrected himself.

What remains unchanged is the real scandal: Raman Singh's son, the son of a BJP Chief Minister, was named in the Panama Papers.

Obsessing over names - especially when the mistake has been accepted - is an intellectually shallow exercise fit only for IT cell warriors like Amit Malviya. Instead of asking how Rahul Gandhi made this error, the BJP should ask itself a far more uncomfortable question:

Why do the BJP ministers, and their kith and kin keep appearing in every shady disclosure – from the Panama Papers to the Epstein files to temple loot to examination scams to share market manipulation scams and so on?

At some point, coincidence ceases to be an explanation. They cannot always be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Perhaps they simply are the wrong people - and wherever they go, wrongdoings follow.

सत्ता के अहंकार में डूबी मोदी सरकार अब इस मुकाम पर पहुँच गई है कि अपने अधिकारों, निष्पक्ष परीक्षाओं और सुरक्षित भविष्य की मांग करने वाले छात्रों को ही शिक्षा मंत्री “आतंकवादी” कह रहे हैं।

ज़रा सोचिए - जिसकी नाकामी से इतने पेपर लीक हुए, जिसके राज में 20 बच्चों ने जान दे दी, जिसने करोड़ों युवाओं का भविष्य अंधेरे में धकेल दिया - वो आज पीड़ित बच्चों और उनकी आवाज़ उठाने वालों को “दहशत��र्द” बता रहा है।

पर यह कोई नई बात नहीं: अन्नदाता किसानों को "आंदोलनजीवी और परजीवी" कहा। सवाल पूछने वाले को “Anti-National” कहा। और अब युवाओं को “दहशतगर्द।”

जो भी सरकार से सवाल पूछे - उसे देशद्रोही बता दो, यही इनकी पूरी राजनीति है।

धर्मेंद्र प्रधान जी, देश के करोड़ों युवाओं से तुरंत माफ़ी माँगिए और अपनी नाकामियों के लिए इस्तीफ़ा दीजिए।

और रही मेरी बात - आप मुझ पर जितने चाहें हमले कर लीजिए। मैंने कोटा में कहा था, और फिर कहता हूँ: यह शिक्षा व्यवस्था आज सिर्फ़ एक वसूली तंत्र बन गई है। मैं इसे ऐसे ही नहीं रहने दूँगा।

हर बच्चे को सस्ती, अच्छी शिक्षा और निष्पक्ष परीक्षा मिले - इस आवाज़ को उठाना मैं कभी बंद नहीं करूँगा।

आदर्श प्रकरण में अशोक चव्हाण की सास के नाम पर फ़्लैट होने का आरोप लगा तो इस्तीफा हुआ, लेकिन मोहन यादव से जुड़े मामले में मीडिया पर सन्नाटा है।

अरुणाचल प्रदेश से जुड़े एक मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने संज्ञान लिया, लेकिन मुख्यमंत्री अब भी कुर्सी पर बैठे हैं। वही हाल अब MP में भी है।

इसका कारण गैर-रजिस्टर्ड RSS है, क्योंकि ये सब उसी से जुड़े हैं और अयोध्या के मामले में भी इन्हीं के लोग शामिल हैं।

नागपुर का एक बच्चा एक महीने से NEET re-exam की तैयारी कर रहा था।

कल परीक्षा से ठीक एक दिन पहले उसने admit card डाउनलोड किया। उसका सेंटर निकला - अबू धाबी।

न पासपोर्ट, न परिवार के पास विदेश भेजने के पैसे, न अब कोई वक़्त बचा है। वो रातभर रोता रहा, और परीक्षा देने से ही मना कर रहा है - क्या इस तनाव की कल्पना भी की जा सकती है?

आखिर ऐसा हुआ भी कैसे? कल किसी भी छात्र को सेंटर तक न पहुँच पाने की शिकायत नहीं होनी चाहिए। NTA असल में देश के बच्चों और उनके माता-पिता का सिर्फ़ धीरज test कर रही है।

जो system एक बच्चे को अपने ही शहर में एक centre नहीं दे सकती, उल्टा विदेश भेज सकती है - उसे परीक्षा करवाने का कोई हक़ नहीं।

कोटा में मैंने यही कहा था - यह अब शिक्षा व्यवस्था नहीं रही। यह एक पूरी पीढ़ी के पैसे, ��मय और मानसिक शांति की वसूली है।

हमारे बच्चों के भविष्य के साथ जुआ खेलना बंद कीजिए। वो एक संवेदनशील, ज़िम्मेदार और जवाबदेह शिक्षा व्यवस्था और परीक्षा के अधिकारी हैं - और हम ये उन्हें दिलवा कर रहेंगे।

Trump showering Modi with theatrical praise is not the real news.

The real news is that Narendra Modi and his government neither demanded an unconditional apology from Trump and his administration for the killing of three Indian sailors in a U.S. air strike in the Gulf of Oman, nor secured even the most basic expression of remorse.

When directly asked about the deaths by a journalist, Trump evaded offering an apology or even extending condolences to the grieving families. Instead, he dismissed the tragedy with the remark: “This is a rough profession... This has been happening throughout time.”

As though the loss of three young Indian lives was merely an occupational hazard.

And he who flaunts being the current “Prime Minister of India” sat there in silence - unable or unwilling to speak for the families of the fallen sailors, or to defend the dignity of the nation he claims to lead.

Trump’s praise is irrelevant. Modi’s silence is the real story.
