Somali people are emerging as largest ethnic group in the Horn of Africa with the population of 48M, Somalia republic(25M), Somalis in Ethiopia (15 M) Somalis in Kenya(5M) Djibouti (1M) and Somalis in diaspora (2M).

By 2040 Somalis could surpass the Housa as Africa’s largest ethnic group.
