🦄 It's been 100 days since I joined @UniswapFND, and hands down it has been the best opportunity I've had to date!

My 100 days recap:
- was blessed to be a part of hackathons (including @EthereumDenver ), but this time on the other side as a judge supporting awesome buidlers.
- Built docs to accelerate Uniswap v4 development, and was amazed at the way v4 has been built (and continuing to build, helping accelerate the future of defi)
- Here comes the best part: I worked on building an open-source interface for Uniswap v4 along with @dayitva_goel, @ocandocrypto and our Dev Ambassadors @intrepid_crypto and @mohak_sol to simplify the testing process!

Now you can easily test that hook that you developed, attach it to a pool, provide liquidity, and route your swap through that pool. The best part? This is only the tip of the iceberg, we want to add more features to make the DevEx better!

these hydration breaks are calm, but it’s funny how during ramadan people completely lost their heads over games being paused for 30 secs - 1 minute so muslim players could break their fast. i still remember the game vs leeds when cherki, ait-nouri & marmoush were booed. the hypocrisy is unreal

Woke up extremely bullish on DeFi and Ethereum today

Uniswap launched in the 2018 bear, when Ethereum sentiment was at all time lows

Uniswap and other defi projects relentlessly built through that bear market and proved how powerful Ethereum can be, catalyzing defi summer and everything since

Now vibes are down bad again and Uniswap intends to build our way out of it. Last time it was by proving defi is possible. This time it will be by proving defi is inevitable.

The internet brought two disruptive changes: existing businesses moving onto the internet, and the formation of new internet-native businesses

The same duality will exist for defi: the tokenization of all existing assets, and a growing vibrant economy of crypto native assets. And it’s all happening right now, with more and more assets being brought onchain, increasing the value and productivity of crypto native assets.

As this digital economy grows, Defi is being integrated everywhere - payment processors, brokerage accounts, asset issuers. It won't stop until we eat the entire global economy

Uniswap the liquidity layer + Ethereum the settlement layer. The perfect combination of low counterparty risk, permissionless, programmable infrastructure

And all this will result in huge growth in protocol volumes and fee generation. Which reminds me:

UNI burn hit all time highs today, after several new sources of protocol fees came online.

And there are many more to come: v4, uniswap x, aggregator hooks, more chains, etc

Now add in all the new assets coming onchain

The second Arsenal lost, some Premier League clubs couldn't wait to jump on social media and remind everyone about their European trophies.

That tells you everything.

Instead of supporting an English club representing the league on the biggest stage in club football, they were busy celebrating Arsenal's pain.

For me, that's not rivalry. That's insecurity.

Arsenal were 90 minutes away from doing something special, and rather than show respect, people were desperately searching through the history books for old trophies to post online.

Why? Because they were terrified of seeing Arsenal join that club.

Let's be honest, some of these clubs spent the entire season watching Arsenal compete at a level they couldn't reach.

The jealousy was obvious.

The moment Arsenal fell short, they treated it like they had won something themselves.

That's the mentality of people who would rather see Arsenal fail than focus on their own success.

The trophy may have slipped away, but the reaction from some rivals showed exactly how much Arsenal still live rent-free in their heads.”

This is a man called Danny Bassett - I don’t have a better picture of him. I didn’t even know his second name until recently.

He stood a couple of rows behind me at the Emirates. Always topless and always bringing the energy. We’d hug when we scored and shake hands and have a quick chat if we won.

Beyond that, we didn’t know each other at all, but he was part of my Arsenal experience for close to a decade.

Danny died suddenly last summer and he didn’t get to experience this season. I thought about him a lot today. I hope you enjoyed it mate. You’re missed.
