When I was 11 years old, I met my first love, an indie pup, Gunda. Gunda is my Praana. A couple of years ago my lil Gunda became a star in the sky, I couldn’t kiss him, or hug him or feed him anymore, he left a hole in my heart that I couldn’t fill.

That’s when I made a promise to him that I was going to love, feed and look after all the animals around me.

I realised, that not only did I see him in every animal that I loved, but i felt his love from every animal that I helped. This love i received helped fill the hole in my heart, it has helped my heart feel complete again, and helps my heart grow with every animal I help. But I wanted more... so, I had to give more… which is why I started the Praana Animal Foundation. :)

Today, we launch The Praana Rehabilitation and Adoption Centre for cats. The first structure I have ever physically built. I want to thank every person and animal that helped us to achieve this milestone.

I can’t tell if I’m crying or smiling, my heart is full, I hope you are happy, my Gunda.

This, of course, wouldn’t have been possible without help from @tekioncorp , thanks for believing in Praana and believing that we can make a better world for all animals. Your collaboration, love and investment is why we are here today. 🤍

This week Praana received two ambulances thanks to @SmtSudhaMurty ma’am, excited about our future collaborations with the Murty trust. :)

Praana also kick started it’s journey into wildlife this year, we have also built our first post care unit for strays on Kanakpura road thanks to @tekioncorp

As much as I’d like to say that we’ve been rescuing and caring for all animals… it really feels like Praana has rescued me. Look forward to more partnerships that are committed to making this world a better place for animals. Thanks again for this.

ಉಪ ಅರಣ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಎವಿ ಸೂರ್ಯಸೆನ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಡೈಮ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ��ಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಟೆಕೆಯಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ದತ್ತು ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಕೆಲಸ ಇತರರಿಗೂ ಮಾದರಿ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಟೆಕೆಯಾನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ದಿನದ 24 ಘಂಟೆ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಆಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಸೇವೆ ಒದಗಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದೂವರೆಗೆ 500 ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿವೆ. ಕನಕಪುರ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟೆಕೆಯಾನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಪುನರ್ ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
