Is everyone’s hospital completely insane right now or just mine? our inpt pharmacy just can’t keep up & they keep adding more tasks but won’t add another to our staffing bc our “productivity is down”. Management everywhere, please listen to your staff before a patient gets hurt.

our Pharm resident at my hospital is my best friend and she got a job somewhere else so she’s leaving in June and we didn’t match next year so I won’t get a new best friend and I am devastated

pharm advice to new peds med residents: “my attending wanted it” is literally never the answer. it’s your name on that order. know why you ordered that dose. when we ask questions: don’t get defensive or verbally attack us. We all have the same goal to save the little people 💕

Match day definitely still brings up some unresolved feelings, even 2 years later. But most of it is due to me comparing myself to classmates who didn’t have nearly the same mountains to overcome as I did. Don’t give up on yourselves y’all. U got this
