In view of the prevailing situation in the region, the Embassy requests the members of the Indian community to closely follow the advisories and guidelines issued by the local authorities and remain vigilant.

The Ministry of Interior has urged everyone to obtain information from official sources and to refrain from circulating or publishing rumours or unreliable information on various platforms to avoid legal accountability.

Embassy's 24/7 Control Room continues to be operational, along with phone helpline numbers (55647502 & 55362508), and e-mail ([email protected]) & WhatsApp assistance. The Embassy also continues to be in regular touch with the Indian community leaders and organisations.

Due to military attacks on QatarEnergy’s operating facilities in Ras Laffan Industrial City and Mesaieed Industrial City in the State of Qatar, QatarEnergy has ceased production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and associated products.

हमलोग शुरू से ही सस्ती दरों पर सभी को बिजली उपलब्ध करा रहे हैं। अब हमने तय कर दिया है कि 1 अगस्त, 2025 से यानी जुलाई माह के बिल से ही राज्य के सभी घरेलू उपभोक्ताओं को 125 यूनिट तक बिजली का कोई पैसा नहीं देना पड़ेगा। इससे राज्य के कुल 1 करोड़ 67 लाख परिवारों को लाभ होगा। हमने यह भी तय किया है कि अगले तीन वर्षों में इन सभी घरेलू उपभोक्ताओं से सहमति लेकर उनके घर की छतों पर अथवा नजदीकी सार्वजनिक स्थल पर सौर ऊर्जा संयंत्र लगाकर लाभ दिया जाएगा।

कुटीर ज्योति योजना के तहत जो अत्यंत निर्धन परिवार होंगे उनके लिए सौर ऊर्जा संयंत्र लगाने हेतु पूरा खर्च राज्य सरकार करेगी तथा शेष के लिए भी सरकार उचित सहयोग करेगी। इससे घरेलू उपभोक्ताओं को अब बिजली का 125 यूनिट तक कोई खर्च नहीं लगेगा, साथ ही साथ राज्य में अगले तीन वर्षों में एक अनुमान के अनुसार 10 हजार मेगावाट तक सौर ऊर्जा उपलब्ध हो जाएगी।
