@Dark_Light_SP@zriboua You think thats overkill, you should hear about the $260B+ we're paying the US for 8 nuclear submarines to arrive in 2050.
After ordering and cancelling 12 French submarines that were to arrive in 2030. Costing us $800m to cancel.
Australia🇦🇺: how does a country that produces oil, run out of oil?
Answer: decades of virtue-signaling environmentalism, refinery closures, and a near-total ban on fracking
This seems to be a unifying theme when you look into the current predicament facing many European nations, Canada and New Zealand.
Times of crisis expose geopolitical luxury beliefs and reinforce how important good governance is.
In 2000, Australia was largely energy self-sufficient, with domestic production and eight refineries meeting nearly all demand. Then the ideological capture set in.
Today, there are just two refineries operating today, supplying only ~17% of Australia's needs and minimal fracking due to the green lobby.
It's estimated that there are over 400 billion barrels of shale oil in place with 17.5 billion recoverable - enough for roughly 40 years of domestic consumption at current rates.
Now, Australia finds itself dangerously dependent on imports for refined fuels. Singapore and South Korea together supply around 50% of Australia's gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel.
Yes, resource-rich Australia, blessed with massive hydrocarbon deposits, has to rely on tiny Singapore with no natural resources. Through strategic decisions and long-term planning, Singapore became a refining hub with a vast strategic reserve.
This is what happens when you lose contact with reality.
If Australia had rejected environmental idealism and instead pursued disciplined policy, it would have been a net oil exporter.
Instead, it is now a net importer of oil
Difficult times ahead which means that sometimes you have to sit down and ask yourself, as a citizen or adopted child of a nation: where can I be useful? Making your community safer and stronger is its own reward…
This video about the Bondi Massacre from one of Australia’s biggest YouTube channels (ABC News has only 15k views and it’s been out for 2 weeks. Very low views.
It’s an incredible piece of journalism. It’s incredibly hard to watch but every Australian should see it, including the foul Grace Tame who has publicly called for more violence.
I am disgusted by what has happened to our beautiful nation.

These political-artistic acts always target sacred spaces and buildings because they are places built by artisans who poured their lives into beauty. Graffiti in this sense is a perfect medium for such humiliations since it’s the art of intrusion. Its ugly roughness desecrates harmony and beauty. And it’s always justified as being “for the marginalized,” given that it’s the moral/progress language shield that makes even Christians accept the defilement of their own symbols.
@Beargrease6969 @Creeptonic@x_audible@wolfofx Hahaha who said I dont like muslims? I simply pointed out the fact that most blue collared worked hate muslims and will be voting Liberal or One Nations, who both stand with Israel.
@osrsRSVP@Creeptonic@x_audible@wolfofx Exactly my point. He said zionist thieves and I suggested that we're already here and thriving.
Jewish and non-jewish Australians alike.
We are allies with Israel which makes us zionists by default.
