Dogs really do take up such a special place in our hearts. I lost my first puppy to parvo after just a week of having her. Now I have my beautiful Stella and I hope for years together.
I had no money growing up. My dad was a labourer and my mum did everything to make ends meet. Men worked hard. Women worked miracles. But education was free. As was the local library. I knew books were my passport to a better life. #SupportLibraries

I've had too much to drink, again. I started writing a tweet but honestly I have nothing to say. Other than human contact is important. I hope you see clearly tonight.
I've drank a lot of rum tonight and I conclude that everyone wants to fight and take sides with everything and you know what I want? A fried egg sandwich. With butter. Yeah. Take that.
A new medication has been added to the mix and I've spent all day feeling like I've just stepped off a Rollercoaster. I do not like this theme park, sir, I do not!
Without my dog, who would I say "biiiig stretch" to? Who would look at me with disgust when I sneeze? Or make me feel guilty whenever I eat cheese? Love this girl.
After Life is so good. It was a ferret that saved my life. I wanted to end it so many times, but she was sick and needed medication. Now, my dog wakes me up every morning with kisses, making me appreciate the day immediately despite the depression fog. Animals are so precious.
@rickygervais thanks so much for Afterlife. So many tears and laughs. Gave my dog an extra big cuddle after the final episode. They really are so special.
After our dog Stella and her massive paws muddied our bed, we finally got it nice and clean. She jumped up, gave it one sniff, and was not impressed. How dare we get rid of all her hard work!
