@paraschopra Why not have AI robots and let them perform as many behaviours and tasks as are observed in humans. As AI robots perform these tasks, the confidence that they might exhibit signs of C increases.

@paraschopra The point is what minimalistic version of consciousness an electron would look like? Can this minimal C be tested? If yes, in what way? Suppose we grant an electron to be minimally conscious, then what are the underlying principle or idea by which we can come up with gradations.
