This is wrong by default by Trump, it’s an emotional overreaction to a problem Gulfstream can fix. Americans depend on Canadian planes so this hurts US flying public.

@fl360aero What a whiny toddler Trump is, how is this guy in power? The reason the Gulfstream isn’t yet certified is because it has to pass more icing tests. Canada is frigid so it’s important planes are build to withstand that, as most Canadian and EU planes are. Is this about the Gripen?

Trump can’t just tariff Bombardier for a BS reason cause he’s mad. The US tried to mess with Bombardier and it resulted in the A220

@GeorgePadron07 @4stripelife1 @fl360aero Canada did nothing wrong. Were actually keen to certify the Gulfstream but if you actually READ into the case you’ll see the Gulfstream had issues with icing. Canada has stricter safety regulations for a reason. Trump just can’t lash out like a toddler because of it.
