My initial pick was red. It seems we've all forgotten about the butterfly effect:

1. If you go all in on BTC, you might mine the BTC that was supposed to have been spent on pizza. Without demonstrating its value, it doesn't catch on. You don't get rich.

2. If you do better in high school, and get into a better college, you're going to displace someone who would have gone there in the original timeline. Don't think this is bad? There's a famous example of someone going down a bad path for not getting into art school...

This really seems like a Monkey's Paws situation...

Taking the green is cleaner, but it doesn't specify where the money comes from.

1. If someone else's money gets transferred to you, then that's an obvious butterfly effect.

2. If new money is created, it may be flagged as counterfeit, or it could be the straw that breaks the camels back towards some inflationary event.

So my final choice is... I will not be pressing either button!
