A few more development shots from Carillon. Room BGs and talk sprites are done, so the next step is updating the fencing sprites from silhouettes to full art.

JatMotMSM actually inherited its black-and-white backgrounds and mono-color character art from this game. It's been fun going back and applying what I've learned in the time since to improve it.

Placeholder enemy art courtesy of Etrian Odyssey III. A samurai dual-wielding lightsabers wouldn't be the weirdest thing I've seen at a ren fair, but it might be a little much for this project.

It's increasingly apparent that Ren'py wasn't intended for a card-based RPG combat system, but kludging it together anyway is half the fun.
