@blessedtism@JuunTV You can call it a dying niche. If it’s dying it’s because less and less games are being offered that way. They want you to think this is where the money is taking them when the truth is it’s closer to 50/50 split. That data is still skewed though. I understand what you are saying
@blessedtism@JuunTV Using GTA6 as an example is wild work. People will buy that game no matter what. They’ve already proved it. And yes that 95% is skewed. It includes everything that didn’t get a physical release. We know when physical is offered the percentage is closer to 30-40% physical
@MADkurious@KingXenoGaming Leaking random gameplay footage is completely different, but honestly I would just not click on it. If I even heard there were leaks for something I cared about I would just stay off the app
@Pheonix__ttv@adam_couser It’s a lot, millions. And I’m not mad at them. It’s the AAA gaming space that exploits them and moves trends that affect the rest of us. It’s not ego its clear AAA sets the trends they all follow, micro transactions, locked dlc, etc
@Pheonix__ttv@adam_couser I’m not saying they are all casuals. I said casual gun and ball gamers. And there are a lot of them. The only thing that could be argued they contributed to gaming is PlayStation sales. And I’d argue that has led us down a shitty road and also is bad for gaming
@Pheonix__ttv@adam_couser It is one game.little bubble. It’s ok that you like COD. My point is that games like COD. Attracting a bunch of fly by night gamers. Doesn’t help the gaming industry. The scummy corporations that make these games have more power and influence that all of gaming gets subjected to
@outtatime1977@wolf_dare828 Yes, game preservation. You can make physical discs of any GOG game you purchase. You can back them up to whatever media you want.
@Pheonix__ttv@adam_couser Yes, little bubble. It’s one game and in fact it’s literally the same game every year. I don’t care how much money you guys give activision. It goes to shareholders not gamers or gaming. And this just helps proves there is a ton of casual Cod players
@NextGenPlayer Switch 2 is approaching 25 million units in just over a year on market. That’s more than a quarter of PS5 total sales. Switch 1 is close to 160 million sold. Switch 2 will end with more units sold than PS5 and PS6. PS sales were down 6%
@Pheonix__ttv@adam_couser Are you retarded? COD and madden dont “fund new games” or have anything to do with gaming outside of their little bubble . The industry would be just fine without them
