SOBRE MINHA SAÍDA DO ICL

Gente amada, sendo direto: fui tirado do ar e de todas as funções que exercia no ICL, inclusive da Direção de Jornalismo, por decisão unilateral da direção geral da empresa.

Os detalhes dos “motivos” e de como isso se deu virão eventualmente à tona em algum momento, e serão esclarecedores. Estou juntando meus cacos por aqui. Numa eleição decisiva como a que teremos em semanas, isso pesa pra mim, e muito. Já se vão 28 anos cobrindo eleições.

Ninguém vai calar minha voz nesse momento decisivo, com Trump pressionando o Brasil. Não vivíamos um momento tão perigoso desde a Operação Brother Sam.

Vou seguir fazendo jornalismo independente, falando o que que penso – aquilo que alguns preferem que fique escondido.

Mas isso tem um custo real: processos judiciais cada vez mais caros e frequentes, e agora eu vou enfrentar isso sozinho, ao menos enquanto não consigo me reorganizar diante dessa decisão repentina do ICL. Estou sem a estrutura de uma empresa por trás do meu jornalismo.

O que posso pedir agora é o apoio de quem acredita nesse trabalho que faço com amor desde a adolescência.

@heyitsstevehunt I loved the film. I think the ending was an “everybody wins” situation. All of them love/are challenged by the others and it feels like they kind of come to an agreement.
