@Kekius_Maximus Start a business like Elon, employ thousands and hopefully increase my wealth without the government trying to take it all away and discourage entrepreneurs
@WolfgangRichtEU You really are bad at math. I’ll give you a hint, look up the amount of money we have spent over the years to clean up oceans, attempt to eliminate poverty and anything else you think money can solve. We’ve spent a lot more than 15% his wealth and none of it is “solved”.
@SenWarren We need a flat % tax on income - no loopholes.. that would fix the problem but wouldn’t be as profitable for congress members like yourself. Real simple.. fix it
@bourscheid The part I don’t get is how people with less than $1 trillion dollars don’t understand there is a difference between giving it all away and reinvesting in companies that change the world and employ thousands of people.
@hashjenni I mean I’ve gotten a raise at work and I paid less taxes than last year but honestly electricity, gas, phone, utilities, groceries etc are so much more expensive I feel like it’s a wash
@omgsidewalks I think the problem is that people don’t just want billionaires to pay their fare share, they want them to pay a higher tax than everyone else. That’s not necessary.. seriously remove loopholes and tax the same percentage of income for all. Seems simple but it’s basic math.
@B7frankH I drove an Audi TT convertible with stick shift and it was nice but overpriced and nowhere near as smooth acceleration and fun as my Tesla model 3. I have driven plenty of cars and none of them match the technology and fun of driving my Tesla. So yeah, no need to explain.
@lomaxx Yeah and then there is sending a kid to college. If I make $90k a year and save $100k for my kids 529 fund the FAFSA says I don’t need help with that $80k a year college. I’m punished for investing in a 529 (I would have been better off being in debt before college)
@collin_ruth89 Going to be honest, the technology is getting better but I think hybrids are just the stepping stone to EVs. There are so many more moving parts in a hybrid because it has both systems (battery and gas motor). I was an early adopter of a Honda Hybrid and wasn’t impressed.
@JeffBezos Wait, if my math is correct.. the middle 49% pay 47% of taxes? Statistics can really confuse the discussion. I think if we paid a percentage of our income (not allowing tax breaks) wouldn’t this be less tax burden on everyone but the rich?
@elonmusk Of all people to understand this.. you have to give people something to be hopeful for and not just tell everyone to cheer up and ignore the destruction of our country by Trump. Why bring children into this complete mess?
@LamarMK Yes I would certainly recommend a Tesla with a few points to make. I have a model 3 2023 and it’s been great (except) I have had minor issues like a leaking windshield wiper fluid and tire sensors replaced. The Tesla service has been horrible honestly.. that is unfortunate.
@teslavangelist In Texas, I literally paid $2,000 to upgrade my panel and future proof for solar at some point. The actual charger install was $500, so $1,500 unfortunately was to update my electrical panel. Not super pricey
