They have absolutely no concept of human well being and dignity.

Eskom’s goal should be affordability and reliability, not surplus extraction, a.k.a. profits. But the governance brigade justifies high tariffs in the name of “good governance,” hiding behind “financial discipline” to defend the pursuit of profit extraction from ordinary people.

Also, the Democratic Alliance is not galloping to court like it did over the *insignificant* VAT increase thing last year; while Eskom and Nersa keep shaking hands🤝 to extort the public with winter around the corner.
