I want to remember today.

I defended my Masters dissertation on the use of photography in representation of climate change and it was a WIN.

A very big WIN for me because God knows how much I wanted to explore with photography, but in academia.

I hadn’t seen it done locally from the perspective of a documentary photographer.

I dared to do it. And I am so thankful to the community of Doctors and Professors at the department of Journalism and Communication at Makerere University, Kampala.

This is but only the start and I can’t wait to find out how the rest of the path unfolds.

Frame 2 is such a raw hearty moment captured by one of the Doctors on the panel today. The moment where they say; ‘this panel has agreed to recommend you for the award of a Masters in Journalism and Communication.’

Ahhh….life. What a ride ! What an intentional God!
