hands down one of the most underwhelming Gundam stuff ever made, and I didn't even have that much big expectations for it
I feel like I'm watching an unironic version of that RLM video of Rogue One where they say "AND I CLAAAAAAPPED"
I seriously doubt my opinion will change with the final episode next week but damn
Gundam GQuuuuuuX is an utter
utter
and I don't use this word lightly
UTTER piece of dogshit, lmao
still trying to get mentally ready to see Char talking with a voice that isn't Ikeda Shuuichi anymore.
It'll be really fucking weard to hear him without that iconic voice, but I hope to get used to it
Everything I liked about Gundam GQuuuuuux in this first episode boils down to "this cute redhaired girl is impulsive and fun kinda like Kamille was, I want to see her pull off more rash shit"
as for the rest, I'll need some more episodes to come up to a proper conclusion
I didn't get to watch the movie version but this first episode makes it very clear to me why there was a movie version of the first 4 episodes broadcasted in theaters beforehand.
It'd be nice to have that first here as well, but okay, I'll be patient and wait for more.
That said, not really hyped for his Yamato movie. I'll still watch it (and probably enjoy it), but I'd rather he did something else.
But he's the artist so he decides what he does, that's not on me to decide and it's better the artist does what they actually wants
Welp, this was kinda expected, but still somewhat disappointing to read.
I really liked Anno's recent movies, but knowing that his Love & Pop and Shiki-Jitsu era's never coming back really hurts.
The final Eva rebuild was the end of an era for him
Anno has more potential in him than just reviving old IPs like a kid bashing his toys and figures against each other (not being derogatory here), but it's okay. I'm just not that super exciting about his upcoming work anymore, like I've been for the past few years
@NaikaVideo Never got to play PSO back in the day because I didn't know there was plenty of offline stuff to do as well and I'm doing it now. It's a pretty fun game! i'm almost finishing episode I
otherwise, I'm not away from social media at all, I'm just at the sky site and my brain got mushy and I got super lazy to think and write in english (and most of my international homies didn't migrate there, so kinda didn't see the point in posting a lot there in english LMAO)
manga kinda took a backseat these past few weeks so movies and games took a bit over my freetime, but I still enjoy it. I just want to vary a little
Finished reading Love Hina yesterday, and I fucking loved. It's kinda the "Scream" (as in Wes Craven's movie) of romcom manga
@cinemasakugah1 I watched it yesterday!
Not sure of what to make of it yet but I like the new heroine. I think I'll need a few more episodes to start wrapping my head on what I think of GQuuuuuux
(that's probably the reason why the thing was shown as a movie in Japan first, I guess)
