I went & made a ko-fi; freelance writing is lots of things, but consistent isn't one of them; I'm hoping I can put more into my FGC blog and a criticism one, and if anyone can help me out with support or getting this out there I'd really appreciate it: https://t.co/RwyVULIcwc
I've entered the Treasure Trove of Rupies event! Play Shadowverse now for 4 ways to win 500,000 rupies! Check the link below for more details. https://t.co/R6x7bSxG3E
I don’t post about my work on here much but I’m making an exception ‘cause my first book has just been published! It’s a long poem called ‘All my teachers died of AIDS,’ about ghosts, queerness, and history. Would mean the world if you ordered a copy: https://t.co/7QPbp0sGJH
@ELFHarleKris So as tempting as it is to say “all of them,” that feels like a cop-out, haha. the ones that I’m most drawn to/have some experience with are Tekken, Soul Calibur, DBFZ, and maybe Uni (and assorted anime games I’m probably more likely to play casually)
Said it once and will again: lockdown is making me wanna get back into them - and I like the idea of doing a kind of lockdown fighters discord to create a good space for newer players (esp women and queer players) to learn together, again pref with EU/UK players
With kunimitsu out soon I might re-up PS+ and use lockdown to to relearn some games so if anyone eu/U.K. people wanna maybe get some games in soon lemme know (see my last tweet thread, an idea I really like but nobody seems to be biting on)
So I have an idea as the U.K. goes into lockdown (again). I thought it would be cool to potentially use this time to like get people together of varying skill levels and fighting games to teach each other & improve without the stress of ranked or tournaments
I feel like playing games with the intent to get better instead of just grinding ladder would be welcome when there’s such a productivity burden going around now. Not sure if other people would be into this (probs UK/EU focused for ease of connection), but hmu if you are

I’d love to do something like this especially in a way that creates a safe space for players who normally struggle to fit in in the FGC (women, queer people, gnc people), a sort of team-but-not-team that exists to reinforce community, learning, and improving as players
@zerostorm6 Well I haven’t played in forever so I don’t know who’s good but I like playing characters with good neutral and space control. So I’m thinking maybe Cooler on point, not so sure about mid
