Chelsea release amazing kit, with great 90’s reference and captivating lead up.
Chelsea manage to halve wage bill, get rid of players who don’t want to be here and clear bloated squad in record time
Nicolas Jackson looks like an exciting player, let’s see how he goes in pre season.
Chelsea being intelligent in the transfer market and don’t want to get into a bidding war.
Chelsea had an unbelievable deal with Paramount lined up but the PL got cold feet, not our fault.
Chelsea finally unearthing young talent that prevents us from having to buy them in 3 years time for 10x the price.
It’s optics. You can choose to kick the club you support, or you can choose to support them and understand context in every situation. Ultimately the choice is yours but this is an new era and it’s time to put the past behind us and try and see the positives that are happening at the moment. New manager, new team and new season ahead.
@cfc_gem Bare minimum. Liquid usually implies swelling around a joint to protect the injured area. I don’t know where the injury is but it’s not a good sign
Spent the last 4 years going into a game like this thinking the worst.
Let’s see if it’s same as usual or if Xavi really is changing this team both from a playing perspective but a mentality one too.
Historically this game concerns me but it’s also a really good chance to see if we are heading in the right direction.
Still loads of quality in the team and a manager I am fully behind.
People are allowed to be concerned. He is a huge factor in our team. Look at the game v Brentford. Our attack is different without him. Just like City would be without Haaland. Doesn’t mean we are bad fans, simply more concerned without a key player which is totally fair. If we win convincingly then great, but it does have an impact and people are allowed to show concern.
Tough game today. Awful conditions and playing a Spurs team who simply haven’t been as poor as their results suggest.
This isn’t some walkover that people are suggesting.
Jackson always had potential but was wildly inconsistent.
No point in saying we should have kept him.
JP is a better striker and Jackson never wanted to be a back up. He needs game time and consistent minutes which he wouldn’t have got with us. He needed to be the main man and we allowed him the chance to do that and he failed.
Taking JP all day long over Jackson.
@ChelseaWay_ Caicedo, Bellingham and Rodri for me. Would be a terrifying combination. Rodri sits which allows Jude to go anywhere and Caicedo just presses like a monster.
Delighted. Think he will be a great addition to the team and will fit in well. Hopefully the injury isn’t too bad. I still think our midfield overall is missing a certain profile and can be looked at this summer but as far as a starting pair, I think Scott and Caicedo could be great 👍🏽
This is clearly happening now. Player wanted to go this summer but Bournemouth stood firm on price. Scott has made it clear he isn’t signing a new contract. Chelsea will get this over the line with an £80m + 10m deal in Jan and most likely have it all agreed before the window opens.
🚨 Bournemouth owner Bill Foley:
“We'd love to have Alex Scott stay here and sign a new contract and be part of this team for the long haul”
“We haven't given up, but sometimes players get stars in their eyes, and they think that Chelsea or Manchester City is the right place to go” (@alex_crook)
For my entire time watching football I have never seen a Man Utd squad/team that has such random and average players. From front to back they are just incredibly mid.
Carrick isn’t the only problem. The whole club is in complete turmoil. And long may it continue.
