We need to reintroduce some forcing function to get out of this loop.

We need to remember we’re not shipping for us, but for the user.

A product shouldn’t be finished by an engineering team. It should be a collaboration between users and problem solvers.

It’s become clear why. Limited intelligence was the forcing function that got products out of stealth and into the hands of users.

AI removed the barrier to infinite optimization. 🧵

Now there’s no ceiling. Burning more tokens = more output = more dopamine.

It’s clear we’re all hooked.

You can always make it 10% better. Add another feature. Refactor that module. Optimize the UX.

The returns never drop enough to force you out of the loop.
