This was brought up on a discord server this morning and absolutely matches my experience using D&D Beyond for the last Twilight years. It’s why I’m not renewing my subscription. #dnd
Here's an early look at a couple of pieces I created for Shadow of the Dragon Queen. Set during the legendary War of the Lance, it's a it's a fresh intro to the world of #Dragonlance. My #maps from the newest #DnD#adventure will be available tomorrow so keep an eye out!
Over the past few weeks you, the community, have made your voices heard. And we’ve listened. OGL 1.0a will remain untouched AND the entire SRD 5.1 is now available under a Creative Commons license.🧵 https://t.co/hJTm2Rgruo
Did you know #Hasbro revealed the covers for Keys From The Golden Vault?
Of course you didn't. They revealed them quietly because they're afraid. Their back is against the wall. Don't let up, people!

Fun thing, this OGL is called OGL 1.2 – NOT OGL 1.1
Which, I assume, means there is an OGL 1.1 out there already.
Likely that very same OGL some creators were forced to sign.
But OGL 1.1 was just a draft right…
The ORC Horde has grown to a truly monumental size! You might even notice a fierce Minotaur in their ranks!
There are over 1,500 companies looking to work with the ORC license! Are you one of them? There is always more room in the ORC Horde!

They are still deauthorizing OGL 1.0a, in other words, not listening to the main piece of feedback.
CC is a great step for the “core rules” but they’re excluding all spells, monsters, magic items, classes, and races in the SRD.
What’s the point??
It's official: WOTC's survey doesn't ask if we prefer this over 1.0a. They're trying to change the conversation. The only appropriate response is: "There is nothing to discuss; OGL 1.0a is irrevocable." #OpenDnD#DnDBegone#ORCLicense
Hey everyone! The survey for OGL 1.2 feedback is now live. We also wanted to respond to a few topics we’ve seen pop up over the past day. 🧵 https://t.co/75JmccffF1
More than 1,500 tabletop publishers have joined together to pledge their support for the development of a universal system-neutral open license that provides a legal “safe harbor” for sharing rules and mechanics. Work has begun

As of Friday morning more than TWENTY THOUSAND people have signed the petition demanding that @Hasbro & @Wizards_DnD cease their bad-faith attempts to deauthorize v1.0a of the #OGL. I'll be writing a lot more this weekend to provide thoughts and context.

I have been in contact with the primary source I used for the survey feedback. Here you'll see my email, and their response (fed through a syntax paraphraser).
I will continue to share all I have. Tomorrow you'll have everything I've recieved. Then I'm done.
Recently WotC, tried to screw over the D&D community, which blew up in their face, and forced WotC to issue a public apology.
In this apology they allegedly lied, claiming the whole thing was a draft.
I’m a 3rd party publisher myself, I allegedly know how they approached us 🧵
It was an incredible day yesterday. @Wizards_DnD started to move in the right direction - standing down from their attempt to deauthorize the #ogl v1.0a. I also did a few hours live with @EHeathRobinson. 13k people signed my https://t.co/PpThnJTzDD petition. We're winning.
